What this site is
A free, independent toolkit for Ontario drivers: check who's at fault under the official Fault Determination Rules, estimate what an accident does to your premium, decide whether to claim, fight for fair value on a total loss, and find your Collision Reporting Centre — all in plain English, all without a sign-up.
Everything here is grounded in Ontario's actual rules — the Insurance Act, Regulation 668, FSRA consumer guidance, and how claims are handled in practice — and written by people with hands-on experience in Ontario auto insurance claims. Where rules changed recently (like the $5,000 police-reporting threshold and the July 2026 accident-benefits reform), the site reflects the current version.
What this site is not
We're not an insurance company, a brokerage, or a law firm, and nothing here is insurance or legal advice. Estimates are educated ranges, not quotes — every insurer files its own rates. If you use our broker connection, you'll be speaking with an independent licensed (RIBO) professional; we may be compensated for that referral, and it never costs you anything.
